Time to book a fall trip for striper on the lake. Topwater fishing should be very good in October. Last year in October we had some 100+ big fish mornings on topwater baits.

We fished the river for gator gar again today and caught one about 50LBS and one about 100LBS.

Started off throwing topwater lures this morning and caught a few fish early then we moved out deep and caught lots of over 20" fish and ended up with 31 in the box. Fall topwater fishing is just around the corner.
