Me and a friend killed them today throwing lures. We caught fish till our arms were give out.

Fishing was good again today and the bait was much easier to catch. The wind also slowed down. I have lots of open weekdays ,the fishing is good , and the lake is not crowded at all.  

Looks like Rita went east of Galveston and weakened to a cat 3 before land fall, that is good news. Maybe Gas prices will not go up. Fished a group of 3 in the AM and 4 in the PM. Fishing was good but bait catching was almost impossible on my end of the lake…

No fishing this week till Saturday. Hard to stay on the fish when you fish one day a week. Looks like the Texas gulf coast is in serious trouble, if Rita hits Galveston I may be looking for a new job because I bet we will see gas prices over 4 dollars a gallon if…
