Fishing Report September 16, 2005
Fished the lake for striper this morning and the topwater bite was real good, mostly over 20″ fish but there were a few 18-19 inch fish mixed in.

Fished the river today and it was slow. 4 catfish to 25 LBS ,a few sand bass, and no gator gar.

Fishing was good again today and the bait was much easier to catch. The wind also slowed down. I have lots of open weekdays ,the fishing is good , and the lake is not crowded at all.

Fished a group of 7 on the lake today. Since bait was tough to find yesterday I got out a little earlier today but I could only get 105 baits by 7:30 so we went with it. Ended up with a limit of 70 fish in the box but all were small box fish.
