I have not been fishing with the crazy weather we have had lately but I went out today and caught this 40 LB blue cat on the lake. I usually don't fish in Late January thru early March but I may have to do some fishing during that time this year. Here is a pic…
Fishing Report January 16, 2010
Fished the river today for big cats. Caught a 36,35,25 and a few smaller ones. The weather looks great next week and I have days open.

Fishing was pretty good on the river today. We caught about 15 fish, 42 was the biggest then we had a 35, 30 ,and about 5 in the 20's. Saw a lot of bald eagles and this little ultra-lite plane.

Skunked on the river today. I don’t know what happened to the fish today but we only hooked two big cats today and lost both of them.

I did not get enough interest in fishing Tawakoni to put that deal together, maybe next year. I have been busy with a little commercial fishing but will get back to charter fishing about mid March. Probably going to start out in the airboat on the Red River for big striper and cats , also…

The way it looks this morning after all the rain the river will not be good till the water slows down. I am thinking about fishing Lake Tawakoni since that has really been producing a lot of big cats this winter. Call or e-mail me if you are interested in a trip on Lake Tawakoni.

Fished a afternoon trip on the lake. Fishing is slow but will get good soon. We ended up with a few nice striper and this 45 LB blue cat.

Fished the river out west today and striper are moving up the river. Also caught a few cats up to 28 LBS.
