Fishing Report October 16, 2010
Fished a group of four on the river today. We caught a pretty good number of fish, blue cat, channel cat, drum, striper, sand bass, largemouth bass, long nose gar , and paddlefish were caught on this trip.

Fished a group of four on the lake today. We caught 30 fish pretty early then it shut off for us. The fish are healthy but still on the small side. We need some cooler weather to get the bigger fish active.

Fished a group of 3 on the river today. Caught plenty of striper but most were small and only one real nice fish that was 8 LBS.

Fished a group of 3 on the river today for gator gar and big cats. Caught one 35 LB blue cat and a 100+ LB gator gar. I will post some video from this trip in a few days.

Striper fishing is getting better in the lake but the fish are still on the small side. Afternoons have been better then mornings. The river is low , they have not released any water from the dam in three weeks so the fish are gathered up in the deeper holes and should be some great…

Fished the river today and did pretty good. We started the morning with a 20 LB flathead, then just a few minutes later we caught a 36 LB flathead, after that is was one more flathead about 10 lbs and smaller blue cats 5-10 lbs and not many of them.

I found a great catfish lake yesterday. I caught a lot of 2-10 LB fish and a few bigger ones up to 20 LBS. I would like to put together some trips on this lake so if anyone wants to make a meat haul contact me for details.

Fished the river today for big cats. Fishing was slow with only on 18 LB flathead. We did snag a few paddle fish to break the silence.

Fished the river again today and caught about 15 cats up to 20 LBS.

Fished a group of six on the lake and caught a limit, fish are still small and hard to catch.
